Town of Pilsen
August 12, 2025 Special Board Meeting Minutes

Present at the meeting were Gary Johanik, Bob Sukala, Dave Appelgren, Pam Brown and Suzi Misun. Also present were Dave Mihalek, Randy and Amy Mashlan, Allan Berg, Michele Sutarik and Julie Johanik.

1)         Call to Order:  Chairman Gary Johanik called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m.

2)         Agenda Presentation:  The Agenda was distributed.

3)         Verify Open Meeting Notice given:  Chairman Johanik verified that the Open Meeting Notice had been given.

4)         Discuss/possible approval to hire Legal Counsel to represent the Town of Pilsen:  Motion was made by Dave and seconded by Bob to hire legal counsel as needed to represent the Town of Pilsen for legal matters.  A discussion followed.  Motion carried.

Motion was made by Dave and seconded by Bob to retain Spears and Carlson as legal counsel for any legal matters.  Motion carried.

5)         Discuss/possible motion regarding survey done on property owned by Timberdoodle Land Co LLC which is adjacent to town property where Town Hall, Rec Hall, Pavillion and playground are located:  A discussion was held but no action was taken.

6)         Adjournment:  There being no further business, motion was made by Dave and seconded by Bob to adjourn.  Motion carried.  The meeting ended at 8:07 p.m.
