RESOLUTION NO. 2021-1
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TOWN CLERK
WHERAS, the Town of Pilsen, through referendum and ordinance, as authorized by Section 60.30 Wis. Stats., has chosen to appoint, rather than elect its Town Clerk;
WHEREAS, the Town Board, in addition to those duties outlined in Section 60.33 Wis. Stats., defined and described the duties and obligations of the Town Clerk on March 22, 2021;
WHEREAS, the Town Board wish to appoint Suzi Misun as Town Clerk for the term beginning April 20, 2021 and ending April 18, 2023;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, the Town Board of the Town of Pilsen and the Town Chairman, by this resolution, adopted by a majority of the Town Board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting and proper notice having been given, resolved and declares as follows:
That Suzi Misun, subject to her acceptance, is appointed Town Clerk of the Town of Pilsen for the period April 20,2021 to April 18, 2023.
That the Town Clerk shall be paid an annual salary of $7,700.00 paid monthly at the Town Board Meeting.
That the Town Clerk shall be eligible for per diem payments for extra meetings and training attendance, at the rate set by the Town Board, currently $50.00 per event. Mileage of .51/mile will be paid for driving personal vehicle for Town business.
That the Town Clerk shall fulfill all duties and obligations as required by Section 60.33 Wis. Stats, and as described in the “Clerk Job Description” attached hereto as “Exhibit A”.
That the Town Clerk, currently is not eligible for any fringe benefits, including but not limited to health insurance, disability insurance, dental insurance. Should the Town elect to participate in any health care insurance program in the future, the Town Clerk shall be responsible for all premium payments, the Town contributing none.
